The fountain of Rigualte is popularly known as "the fountain of the Frog" and can be found in the area of the same name, between Pozo Pago and Benejí. It was built by the Moors in the twelfth century. Its waters flow underground and come from the Sierra de Gador. This fountain is important because it is one of the few historical monuments that are preserved in Berja.
