Plaza Porticada
Se trata de la Ćŗnica Plaza Porticada de AlmerĆa. El estado actual que presenta se debe a una reciente restauraciĆ³n.
En el S.XIX, se pensĆ³ en cambiar la zona destinada a mercado, Plaza de la ConstituciĆ³n y calles colindantes, y aglutinar todos los puestos en un Ćŗnico espacio.Con la apertura de la Avenida Manuel SalmerĆ³n, en 1.860 varias familias donaron este espacio para que sirviera de mercado de abastos.
Frente a este espacio se situĆ³ el Hotel Sur de EspaƱa o Parador Iberia, un enorme caserĆ³n donde se alojaban los viajeros, muchos de ellos traĆdos desde AlmerĆa por la diligencia āLa BerjeƱaā.Presidiendo esta Plaza se encuentran las Fuentes del Macho y de La Hembra.
This is the only Square porch of Almeria. The current state is due to having a recent restoration. In the nineteenth century, it was thought to change the area for market, Constitution Square and surrounding streets, and bring together all posts in a single space. With the opening of the Avenida Manuel Salmeron, in 1860 family groups donated this space to serve as a food market. Against this space stood south of Spain or Parador Hotel Iberia, a huge mansion where travelers, many of them brought by the diligence from Almeria "The BerjeƱa" were staying. Presiding over this square are the sources of male and female.
